You have a lot of freedom in your life these days. Part of this freedom has been provided to you by the ready access you have to images, videos, social media, etc. For instance, you can take a picture or video and display it in numerous places instantly with any comments you want on it. Most often this is done without thought; just getting caught up in the moment and the “fun of it all”.
But what are you really doing?
Are you giving any consideration to what repercussions your actions may have? Your actions could have a profound effect on another that you may never know or understand.
Will your actions hurt or injure someone? Will they cause embarrassment or come across as bullying? Are you infringing on or invading someone’s privacy? Will your actions turn on you and come back to hurt you in some way?
You and I are here in this life to Love, Respect and Care for one another! We are here to help make this a better World!
This is a solemn responsibility and not one to be taken lightly without any thought to possible consequences to others and yourself.
It comes down to having compassion and respect for one another. Remember, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!”
Take a moment to think before you act. Step outside yourself, look around and ask, “What will happen if I do this? Will I hurt anyone including myself?”
Don’t be sucked into the game of trying to “one-up” someone else. This is your ego talking. This is you crying out for recognition and acceptance; you wanting to be a part of something but doing it in a way that will leave you still wanting and unfulfilled.
Take the other path! Support and honor one another. Come together, communicate, and respect each other. This is how you get the acceptance and recognition you desire that is positive, loving, fulfilling.
Yes, you have the freedom to choose and to do whatever you want but is it the right thing or the best thing to do for you or another?
Please choose wisely and lovingly!
