It’s easy to do! It’s easy to rationalize a situation and tell yourself,
“It’s only temporary.”
“It will change.”
“It will all work out in the end.”
“Everything will be okay.”
“I just need to have a while longer.”
“They will change.”
The problem does not rest in the statements because some of these can be very trusting and faith-based. The issue is you “know” that the statement will not happen! You are rationalizing, avoiding the inevitable, procrastinating and giving up your power and control over your life.
You are worth more than this whether you know, accept or believe it. No person deserves to settle for less than what is in his or her highest and best good. You deserve every chance to make your dreams come true, to not have them squashed or determined by another, and you deserve happiness, joy and the right to live your life the way you choose.
Yes, if you choose to live your life with rationalizations and excuses that is your right and at times, feels as if it is your only choice due to your situation. The point is to be consciously aware of what you are doing and to make peace within yourself that, at this time, this is the best for you. Make your decisions with your eyes wide open and be totally honest with yourself about your true reasons.
The universe supports you in fulfilling your dreams but you have to take action to move in their direction. They will not happen all by themselves.
Take time to get very clear about what your dreams and desires are and about the truth of your situation. Then, whenever you have a life decision, you will easily be able to determine what is best for you and your forward progress toward your goal.
