Most people only associate chronic pain with physical pain but abused people will tell you that emotional pain is just as real and debilitating. I was a victim of emotional abuse, which I tell about in my backstory, and it is still with me and has shaped a very large portion of my life.
There is a lady named Mereana that is working with teens who are victims of abuse and she is doing wonderful, inspiring work. The name of her organization is Youth Team Trust. Please read all about this program at this link.
